Island House Beach Resort, Siesta Key Florida, Crescent Beach - This large 2 bedrooms, 2 bath unit is non-carpeted and approx. 1000 sq. ft. It has a large living area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, screened lanai, covered parking, central ac/heat, 3 tvs, free wi-fi in unit! It has a king, 2 twins, sleeper sofa. The unit does not have a Land Line phone.The unit is just steps to the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This beautifully maintained complex is on the widest part of Crescent Beach. The complex has 2 beach cabanas, beach chairs, large heated swimming pool, game room and a scenic beachfront courtyard where you will experience the most amazing sunsets. There are many shops, restaurants, golfing, fishing, tennis, boating, parasailing in the area. Busch Gardens/ Disney are within a short driving distance. Over the last 40 years we have stayed in almost every unit on this property, but this was a pleasant surprise this year! Villa 28 was very nice and quite comfortable! Heading back in a few weeks and staying in this exact same unit again!

This was our 5th year at Island House Beach Resort but our first time staying at Villa 28. It is very tastefully decorated and was very clean upon arrival. We enjoy the location of the resort where we can catch the trolley to the village right across the street. The surroundings of the resort are so beautiful and well maintained! It's definitely our happy place! We've already booked it for next year!

We love the Island House. We stay here every year! We’ve stayed in multiple units over the years. The only thing we noticed this year is that the furniture appeared dirty in the unit. The couch is cream color and I’m sure difficult to keep clean. The floors were swept but still dirty so our feet stayed very dirty. We had to keep our shoes on while inside.
Staff were very friendly and professional.
We really enjoyed the new tables on the lawn.
We visited many restaurants close by. Our favorites were Toasted Mango for breakfast, Ophelia’s for fine dining, and Spearfish, Walt’s, Captain Curt’s, and Phillipe Creek for seafood.
We will be returning in October!

Talk about a find! On the beach, quiet but close to Siesta Key! Second time staying and a different villa then before! These are great, clean, remodeled and budget friendly! My gf and I wanted a little fall get away from Ohio weather and this place was perfect. Nice and quiet but plenty close by to do. We enjoyed the private beach and the pool. Great proximity to siesta key village and downtown Sarasota. Very clean and updated.

We have stayed in several different villas over the years and I would have to say villa 28 was definitely the nicest we have had. Everything was beautiful and so accommodating. The only thing I will mention, is the master bedroom stayed very hot despite keeping blinds shut and door open and the air down. We ended up shutting the vents in the other bedroom and that did make the master bedroom cool off more. Just thought I would mention it. But overall it was an AMAZING stay and we can’t wait to return.

I went for my 60th birthday May 1-7 with sisters and family !!
The villa was a great location to the pool and 2 min to beach front.
The resort is beachfront with apartments and villas. The villa was equipped with all we needed and we loved the lanai. The staff was very attentive before during and after. Shout out to Scott!
We loved having Johnny’s Rides for our transpiration to siesta key village ~
Or use the free trolley that runs every 20 mins.
We are booking for next year. Siesta Key is a great fun area w/ most bars and restaurants in the village ~ 2 miles from Island House !!

This Summer was the second year we have stayed at Island House. We have rented the same villa each time. We love the Island House and its close proximity to everything in Siesta Key! We are planning to stay here next year, too.

We have stayed at the Island House every year since 1983 and we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else! Happy to see so many of the units being upgraded and this one was no exception! Very clean and nicely appointed. Couldn’t think of one negative thing to say about V-28.
I will say that there wasn’t a lot of customer friendly vibes coming from behind the counter in the office! Almost felt like we were interrupting their day when we picked up the keys! And the only other feedback I would have is that the pool is uncomfortably hot! It was hot in April when we were down and it was too hot to even get in when we were there at the end of May. I’m not sure what changed with that because we have been visiting for many years.
