Island House Beach Resort- Siesta Key Florida, Crescent Beach - This lovely villa is located on the widest part of Crescent Beach. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa features privacy for your stay with a large living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, central ac/heat, screened lanai and covered parking. This villa is a short walk through the resort to the beautiful azure and turquoise waters of the Gulf to sit and enjoy the sun, sand and surf. The beautifully maintained complex has 2 beach cabanas, beach chairs, a large, heated swimming pool, game room and scenic beach front courtyard featuring shuffleboard, corn hole, seating areas and gas grills where the sunsets are fantastic!
Ride the Siesta Key Trolley to the Village to enjoy restaurants and shopping or take a quick walk south to more shopping and restaurants. Feeling adventurous? Myakka Park is close, rent a bicycle to explore the wonderful key, kayak/paddleboard in the mangroves and explore the newly opened Midnight Pass on the south side of Siesta!

We had a problem with AC but Staff/Maintenance were great. Not happy that you have raised deposit required and timing when due. 25% increase in rent and due 90 days in advance seems harsh.

Villa 2 is a nice villa with all the typical amenities of the Island House. It's closer to the beach side of the complex than the street side, which is nice so you can get to the water faster. However, a few things need to be replaced. The blinds in the living room do not function, and the coffee maker had mold in it. With a few upgrades, I would recommend this villa, but not currently.

We love the location of Island House on the beach and street. The Villas was neat & clean but both blinds to the lanai need to be replaced. The office staff are friendly & accommodating! Our second time staying in one of the Villas & we definitely will be back!

This is a wonderful beach to visit. We haven’t found one we enjoy more. This is our 1st stay at Island house and would return without a doubt. This unit has a very close proximity to the sand which is perfect for us. We have visited Siesta Key yearly (and sometimes more) for about 30 years. Love the Village for dining as well, particularly Daiquiri Deck. Only complaints about the unit we stayed in was that the blind had several pieces missing & it could have been a bit cleaner.

Perfect spot for a beach get away. The villa was clean and had most everything needed for our stay. Great location with a short walk through the property to the beach. Trolley stop close to the property to go into Siesta Key Village. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again!

V2 was NOT a good rental for me. It didn't have the updated bathrooms (no fans etc.) -closet doors were squeaky, parking was an issue for more then two cars, nice pool table but no tips on the cues. V@ though just seemed tired and dated. Now other villas at Island house are very nice and have enjoyed many vacations. Lastly, they have really upgraded their security. I sure like that!

Tom, thank you for the comments and glad you enjoyed your stay. The closet doors are already scheduled to be repaired after the season. We do have plenty of pool cues but keep some in the office as kids have a tendency to slam them to the ground causing them to break. Just ask us for another. As for parking, each unit is permitted 2 parking spaces. Your reservation had 2 guests scheduled on it so I am not sure why there was a issue with that. Hope to see you again at Island House

We have stayed at Island House Beach Resort, Villa 2, for five summers now. It is the perfect spot to unwind, explore, and create memories. The pristine white sandy beaches, crystal clear beaches, and small beach town feel is our ideal getaway! There are plenty local spots to enjoy or bring your own food to grill on on-site BBQ grills. You can also rent kayaks or paddleboards to be dropped off, rent or bring your own bikes to cruise into town or take the free trolly.
Good location however the villa was extremely concerning due to lack of attention. All baseboards need to be replaced. Looks like water damage to doors and baseboards (mold concerns) bathroom was in extremely poor condition- towel bar broken, shower doesn’t drain. Fells like your taking a bath and a shower at the same time. Bed in master needs replaced. Porch is in very poor condition. Could go on and on with negatives. Furniture and TV not too bad. Kitchen was ok as well.
