Island House Beach Resort 8S

We had an awesome trip. The unit was better than expected. Everything you possibly need was in the kitchen. Beds are comfortable and the view off the patio is breathtaking. Office staff was so helpful. Will definitely book this unit again.

Island House is a great location! The beach is beautiful and the area is much less busy. Just a short drive or teolley ride to the village.

The actual unit's furniture was nice and the kitchen complete with everything you might need to cook. Beautiful views!
The unit was clean except for the floors which were sticky from day one. I do not blame this on the Owners but on the cleaning crew.

8S was a great unit. Wonderful views of the ocean and sunset. High enough to dull noise. Quiet and private. Master bed comfy. Showers had great water pressure. Kitchen has pretty much anything you need. Some of the outlets and switches in the unit need replaced but nothing major. Office hours are inconsistent despite the listed hours. We were one of several people who couldn't seem to get the key lockbox to open. With all of that said, overall great stay and look forward to returning to Island House soon.

The location is perfect, literally steps fromf the beach. Nothing beats listening to the waves while having your first cup of coffee. This condo is nicely appointed and equipped.

The best thing about this condo is the view. We spent most of our time in the screened-in porch in order to take in this view as much as possible. We were steps away from the beach.

We loved our stay at the Island House on the most magnificent beach in Florida! The unit was clean, the view from the lanai is spectacular. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to do our cooking. Some of the cooking utensils and baking sheets need to be replaced, but that's minor. The one thing I would recommend is to upgrade the guest bedroom queen mattress. It is uncomfortably hard. The pillows were flat, but the woman in the office was so accommodating and found us better ones. The staff here is awesome. The pool area and outdoor space near the grills and beach are clean and well kept. I saw maintenance men always cleaning up the area. When we next come back to Siesta Key, I hope I can find a unit at the Island House!

We had a fantastic vacation! The resort, the beach and the location are great!

Loved the view of the beach and the sounds of the waves. The king bed was yummy. The queen bed was too hard. The unit was clean and had everything that you need. There were ocean toys to enjoy the water with. WE loved playing in the water, and loved that the water was so warm.

Loved the beach and Island House itself, but was disappointed in many things about the unit itself. The AC is extremely loud, and when blower comes on it is very noisy in the bedroom and living room. There is no ice maker and only 2 ice trays- would be nice to have a fridge that is more up to date w/ ice maker. Utility closet in the kitchen won't close and it is very dirty and gross in there w/ wet mops and dirty buckets, rags, etc. Sliding glass doors leading out from kitchen to back porch won't lock. There is a slow drip in the master bathroom sink. Overall the unit needs a face lift- really outdated plastic plants and dingy rugs, old lanai furniture. We felt like for the price we paid, the unit could have been nicer. Unit was dirty- I had to wash the floors myself - they were very dirty and I had to wipe the kitchen and bath counters down and my Clorox wipes were very dirty when doing so,. We likely would not choose to stay at this unit again due to above.

The Unit is clean, neat and the kitchen has all the necessary items for cooking (except food!) which makes it so easy to settle in for a long stay. We enjoyed it so much we are going to go back.

8S was perfect for our long weekend with friends. Plenty of comfortable seating, 2 full baths, all kitchen supplies, beach chairs, nice screened porch, and of course the view and location to the beach was awesome!
Everything went fine with the booking, check in and out and communication.
We all agreed we would stay again.

Best location on the best beach ever! Simple and easy reservation- Chevk in and out. Great communication. Property felt even better then the pics!!!! Beds were cozy - great water pressure in the showers. Free laundry right off kitchen! Elevator to beach was speedy and right outside the door. We wish our stay was longer but would rent again for sure! Recommending to all of our friends snd family. Loved this gem

We had a wonderful time overall! The location is perfect, right on the beach. Loved the covered parking and the elevator access. The screened in balcony off the living room was where we had our breakfast each morning. Outstanding views. Quite comfortable, but bedding could use a freshening and maybe a quicker coffee pot, brew time was abnormally long. Would definitely come back and highly recommend! Thank you!!!

Had a wonderful week on the beach. Can’t say enough good things about 8s. Clean well stocked and the master bathroom shower is something you should experience

Our rental experiences at Island House were very good. The rental properties. Were as expected, Each of the four properties had their unique attributes. Each provided a beautiful view of the Gulf and surrounding area.

We had a fantastic time,the condo was amazing. This is the second time I have stayed in 8S and loved it again. Everything we could possibly imagine was already there for us. Umbrellas, boogie boards, games. I love being able to see out every direction at the sky.. Awesome Time had by all!!!

Have stayed at The Island House many times and it never fails to make us happy. Great location, pool and beach, close to village, quiet environment

Absolutely wonderful condo with the daily sunset view included! Location is perfect and everything that we needed was available.
