Newly remodeled! This fantastic gulf-front unit is a distinct luxury on the first floor. The fabulous beauty and presence of just being at Siesta Key is unmistakably infectious. Although 1 lanai panel is cracked due to recent hurricanes, you'll still have 100% safety of a gorgeous gulf-front view. Heighten your family’s enjoyment with the ability to just take a few short steps to the white quartz sand from your lanai. The ground floor provides an unobstructed 180-degree view of the blue-green waters of the gulf. Your privacy is heightened with no common walls with adjacent units. Take full advantage of your precious vacation time without the exertion of excessive stairs, elevator concerns, FOBs, or long jaunts trying to locate your car in the crowded confusing parking lot. Take full advantage of the little things that make your stay largely more enjoyable.
Continuously relaxing in the front-centered lanai, gazing over the blue-green waters can sometimes present a surprise visit from a dolphin or a turtle in the white sands. The view is breathtaking... you can’t escape melting into the unfolding mesmerizing dusk of Crescent Beach and the captivating views of the sunsets during your memorable stay.
The unit includes 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a King, 2 twins, and a sleeper sofa and can sleep 6. A full-size living room and dining area overlooking the fabulous view. Fully equipped kitchen, all appliances with free Wi-Fi available on all 3 TV sets.
Due to recent hurricanes Island House Beach Resort is undergoing remediation and renovations. We are working on updating our amenities, and private pool, and restoring our elevators in the mid-rise units.

Island House is a beautiful resort on Siesta Key. The beach and the view are exceptionally beautiful. The staff (Sonny & Jill) were wonderful, professional and attentive to our needs. That said, Apt. 1S is in dire need of a complete renovation. Pictures are deceiving. The bedroom carpets were replaced with flooring which was great. But, the unit had been painted and the paint job was very messy. Repairs to broken plaster was sloppy. The kitchen cabinet finish peeled so they painted over the peeling. The door to the AC closet fell off the tracks. Window blinds are mismatched/broken. The 2nd bathroom is a hot mess (broken mirror, broken light, leak in ceiling not fixed. Tiles are lifting, furniture is outdated. The location is excellent but the rental cost is the same for this run down unit as the units that are in pristine condition. The staff are working with the owner who is not agreeing to renovations. This unit may not be available until repairs are completed.

The location of this condo is the only plus. This condo is in terrible was as clean as possible I guess. We had to let workers in our bathroom to repair the ceiling which really interrupted our entire last day. Thought they could have done that the next day before checkin time. I would recommend Island House, however, this condo needs a total upgrading.

We enjoy our stay at Island House! Our home away from home. It’s spacious and clean. Scott at the front desk is very easy and nice to work with if anything comes up. The place is clean and pretty well stocked for whatever you need. We decided to cook a few days and everything we needed was in there. Love that laundry room is accessible. Love the short walk to the beach. The screened porch is awesome anytime of day or night. We love that it’s not noisy around there like most hotels are. Very calm and peaceful area!

We rented the unit that we have previously rented at least 8 times. Although the unit is older and in need of some TLC, the location and beach make it #1 in my book! Some general maintenance on the carpet, wallpaper and guest bath is needed, but it was clean and ready for us when we arrived!

We love the Island House Resort! The location is perfect, just south of downtown so the beaches are not as crowded, but close enough to hop on a trolley to ride in. The resort is well maintained.

This was our second time renting a unit from Island House. We love the location and enjoy watching the beautiful Siesta Key sunsets from the lanai. The property is very well maintained and our unit was clean but could use some minor repairs. We are already booked for next year.

My family has been staying at Island House since the 70's and we absolutely love it. The units vary in upkeep, but typically we have no major issues. 1S is a great unit with awesome views and beach access. It is in need of remodeling, but heard that is already scheduled. The unit is a little different as one bedroom doesn't have an adjoing bathroomm, but no huge issue.

Fabulous, we have stayed at this unit many times. Not the best overall, but you can't beat the view! I wih the kitchen has some decent knives and pots for cooking (these had burn marks in the bottom).

You can’t beat the location! Beautiful view every minute of the day. You are literally right on the beach. The condo has well maintained appliances and furniture is up to date. It’s a very old building so there definitely is some wear and tear on the ceilings, walls, doors etc.

LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW AT THE WHITEST BEACH IN AMERICA!
We stepped out onto the beach, this place was truly amazing. Very clean and comfortable. This is our second time staying here, we love it. We also could step right outside our unit and wave to friends and family on the live Sieste Beach web cam.

The location of Apartment 1S is more than perfect. Just steps to the white sands of Siesta Key's beach. The unit itself need some updating. The carpeting in the bedrooms needs to be replaced with tiles. The hall bathroom needs upgrades. Not enough wine glasses!!! All of this can be overlooked just by sitting on the lanai and looking at the view. We will be back!

Everything was very good except for the roaches we seen every night. I reported it to front office, but received no follow up. I got a couple, but they would run under the baseboard. Wife was not happy.
