About
Due to recent hurricanes Island House Beach Resort is undergoing remediation and renovations. We are working on updating our amenities, and private pool, and restoring our elevators in the mid-rise units. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath apt. is on the 3rd floor and is accessible via stairs only.
Island House Beach Resort! Crescent Beach, Siesta Key Florida. This beautifully maintained complex is located on the widest part of one of the best beaches in Florida. This condo offers a view of the palm trees, white sand, and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The view is picturesque and the sunsets are spectacular. It has a large living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen ( all appliances) King, 2 twins. It has 2 porches. Free Wi-Fi in the unit! There are many shops, restaurants, and things to do in the area. Busch Gardens/Adventure Island is one hour away and Disney/Epcot is 21/2 hours away. Pack your bags and visit Island House to make your vacation a most memorable one!

We had a great stay in this unit. It was our first time to Siesta Key so we didn't know what to expect, especially in the aftermath of Ian. The property sustained some damage, mostly on the building we were staying in, but it was still in great shape. Our unit was updated and nicely decorated, but you couldn't beat our sunset views! The resort is great - beautiful beach location, plenty of beach chairs for the guests, and a great game room with ping pong, air hockey, pool, and foosball - all located right off of the large pool. The pool is right off of the street, which gets a little noisy from traffic, but this is how most of the pools in Siesta Key are - at the back of the resort off of the main road. My only real complaint would be about the master bed. The mattress is very uncomfortable and just supported on rails. You feel every movement made by your sleeping partner. I ended up sleeping on the extra twin bed so that my husband and I could sleep.

Great location, spacious, well furnished unit, plenty of closet space, spacious super-king size master bedroom, beach view from the large covered balcony on which we ended up having all our meals. Ceiling fans in all rooms including the balcony - very nice. Smart TV with netflix, youtube, etc access. "Corridor" style kitchen well equipped. The only issue I would voice is the "beach service" for tents and umbrellas - done by separate company for extra cost + were not even available when needed, had to be reserved days in advance. And if you were not among the lucky ones who did get those reserved you are kinda pushed to look for space to the side of the beach, not a big deal for some probably, still plenty of room. Trolley stop right by the entrance was also very convenient.

Our parents honeymooned here in 1979. My brohter and I grew up vactioning here. Sadly, this was our first year without out father. We had a wonderful time reminsicing anout our late father and creating new memories with our families. This was our first time staying in this condo, and is for sure one of our favorites now. Pros: lovely unit. Decorated nicely. Well stocked with all kitchen needs. Huge MB with lots of hangars and storage. Loved the Lanai where you could open the windows or use the screen. Customer service was excellent from start to finish, try friendly people at front desk. Grounds well maintained.
Cons: Sand under the shelters needs to be raked . It was dirty and gross all days. That wouldn’t be hard Thor maintenance to do as it’s not a large area.
A roll of paper towels at the start would be helpful.
A lovely condo unit, we would book again.

On arrival, we found the apartment very clean with fresh linens and towels. The kitchen was well equipped. The screened in porch was ideal for morning coffee and then a short walk to beach. Beach chairs are provided although an umbrella would've been nice. We bought one and left for a neighboring guest. Just a very relaxing place!

We were visiting Sarasota for a training camp ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Island House was a perfect place to stay right on the beach. It was quiet, clean and has incredible views of the sunset. Island House is the place to be.
