Island House Beach Resort V5

This was our first time at Island House Villas. We stayed in early November which is a perfect time to go. Great weather and not as crowded. Our villa was clean and had everything we needed. We were located about half way back in the resort so we were equally spaced between the pool and the beach. It was just the 2 of us but I prefer a 2 bed 2 bath place for convenience. Island House has one of the best private beaches and a very nice common area for hanging out or grilling out. Some people gather in this space for evening cocktails before sunset. There is also a nice shuffle board court. The property is well taken care of. Some of the things that could have been better are: the need for a restroom near the beach access area, the pool is not heated, our Villa V5 was sufficient but lacked good lighting. It had very low wattage bulbs throughout. The living room furniture was worn and a bit broken down. The large walk in shower was like a dark cold cave. If you are shaving your legs it never gets warm enough to not get bloody goose bumps. The decor and colors of the interior were bland, not like some of the other villas that are bright and beachy. I only picked this unit because it had a bathtub in the other bathroom. Most other units have 2 showers.

Good location. Great beach. Description of property is accurate. On site staff very helpful and always available to answer any questions. Owner was very responsive to questions even over holiday weekend.

This was our second year staying in Villa 5. Great location-just a short walk to the soft sand & beach loungers provided. Clean rooms & 6 of us were able to comfortably stay for our family vacation.

The villa was wonderful and the staff very attentive and responded in a timely manner when need. The door on the second room wouldn’t close and the sponge for the kitchen was missing . But overall the unit was very comfortable and homey.
I will be staying there again.

This was our 4th stay at Island House and it’s always been great!

The Villa was in a great location and nicely updated and comfortable. It appeared clean but when walking around barefoot you realized it was clean. There were some items that needed fixed and/or replaced but the complex was nice and very convenient to many things! Also really appreciated the free beach chairs!

The Island House has been our favorite place to stay for over 20 years. The units are wonderful and so close to the sandy white beach.

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay at the Island House for Spring Break 2022. Great beach, helpful staff, and a wonderful villa for our trip. Would recommend this rental to family & friends.

Overall, had a very nice stay. This unit was fairly nicely updated, clean, spacious, and in good shape. The location and proximity to the amazing beach is spectacular, particularly for the price. It's a good value. It's not really a luxury residence/community, but well maintained with good facilities that we enjoyed (nice pool, clubhouse, beach chairs). There were a few supplies that would have been nice to have been provided: shampoo, sugar, and dish soap/sponge, better toilet paper (not single ply). In addition, one of the fans/lights didn't work in a bedroom -- the fan was stuck in the "on" position and light couldn't be turned on, but wasn't a huge deal. A couple other things like that. But overall, all those little things weren't a big deal. They were also able to accommodate a late checkout for us. Thanks for the great stay and would recommend it to others!

This unit is very nice and furnished well. It is convenient to both the pool and the ocean. We had a wonderful time.

We have been staying at this Villa for the past few years and love the renovations of a few years ago, but now the appliances like the refrigerator and microwave need to change.

One of 3 units rented for a family gathering...great for us all to meet! Kitchen was well stocked.... Nicely furnished.... Bedding was very comfortable. Liked unit halfway between beach and pool.

Our check in experience started off rough, but after that things were great! Our place was well appointed, clean, close to the beach and comfy. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is my second year and I was not disappointed, just as great as the first year! Island House is beautifully maintained and has an excellent location. Scott is great to work with and very helpful! Due to availability, both years I have stayed in a Villa. Only downfall is you are unable to see water from room. However, they are very roomy and very comfortable for a stay.

Overall, we were pleased with the Siesta Key Island House experience! We had great weather and the staff was fantastic! The pool was clean, the beaches and property was maintained well, and the condo unit was nicely decorated. Except for some tiny red mites around the sink, it was clean. But the blinds were a little tough to navigate, and we weren't able to get the master closet doors to work right - it looked like the rail on top that allows the rollers to work was bent, so the door kept coming off.

The wifi was good, the appliances worked well, and the unit was very comfortable, and easily heated or cooled.

Thanks for a great place to stay for a 2020 vacation!

We have been coming to the Island House since 1989 and we absolutely love it. Wish we could visit more often but we get there when we are able.
