Island House Beach Resort V13

It was an amazing vacation! The Villa is super comfortable! The beach is the best! Island House has everything you need for a wonderful vacaction!

The villa was great! Much room for improvement. The guest bedroom fan was broken. A lightbulb was burned out in the dining room. There was a chair missing for the dining room table. There were ants in the kitchen. We had to buy ant traps even though we reported this, nothing was done. The internet did not work. We had work and needed the internet. A drawer from the refrigerator was broken.
All of this was reported to the main office.

The Villa was comfortable, clean, well equiped for our family of 6. The beach was incredible, white sand , warm water, all we could dream of. Definetely coming back.

The villa was furnished nicely, the office staff was pleasant and the weather was perfect. Although the villa was generally clean there were crumbs under the dining room table and the coffee table which was surprising considering the additional cleaning fee.

Perfect get away for all! I brought 2 grandkids ages 7 & 8, we spent every day at beach, pool, riding trolley to village. Then my son and wife came, went kayaking, rented bikes, went for fan boat (Punta Gorda), went to village for some great breakfasts, beach! Perfect family vacation for all ages.

Overall our experience was very good.
A few things that could be improved:
- Please get someone to rake the beach on a regular basis. Other properties do this.

- Please get more complete sets of glassware and plates. It's crazy that we're paying so much for so little.

- The toilet in the master bedroom is broken. The water keeps running unless you jiggle the chain. We had the same problem with the same toilet last year. This needs to get addressed.

Love siesta key, island house is in the best location along the beach, we had bad weather and had to leave for two days but property manager and all the staff were great and accommodating, we will definitely come back to island house.

We have been coming to Island house for the last 33 years. The villa is clean, comfortable, the staff goes out of their way to assist. Scott who retired this year was very friendly and helpful! Now Sunny, Jill and Jan are friendly and helpful as well! Liliana and Juan Carlos are awesome too!

Had a great vacation, sun and sand! Villa was lovely, very short walk to beach. Beds a little uncomfortable. Love Siesta Key Beach!

The office personnel is so much more friendly and pleasant this year. It was a refreshing change.
My hope is that there will be at least one cabinet left empty so there is room for groceries without rearranging all of the others.
The unit is very well decorated and well suited to out needs although the upholstered furniture needs a cleaning.
Great vacation even with the red tide appearing

We have been coming to the same Villa for about 10 years. Feels like home. We love ❤️ it and will be back next year in the same Villa. We have made many friends that also come back same time.

My husband picked this resort. By chance they had a villa available. I walked in and couldn’t believe my eyes. My dream decor. We feel in love with everything Island House has to offer. The heated pool was relaxing, and the ocean was magnificent. We enjoyed the food from the local restaurants. We are coming back next year to pickup where we left off.

All the villas are basically the same. Just cosmetics change things. But island house has everything that we would want. Love the beach

Very clean attractive unit. Swimming pool was very warm in February which the kids loved. Enjoyed ping pong, pool, and air hockey with the kids. 5 washer/dryer sets on site made laundry quick and easy.

This is a beautiful well kept property. Always saw people working on the lawns ect to keep everything looking great . We did have a few issues in the villa but we called and they were fixed promptly. Second time here within the last year, love the beach, pools and the village. So happy to have the free shuttles.

Loved the villa and the location on Siesta beach. We did not have the best weather - it was cold and windy on the beach. We’re coming back to the area in February next year.

We come down every year for soccer showcase and rent up to 10 villas. Scott was great to work with. True professional!
