Island House Beach Resort V16

The Island House is our choice for our yearly beach vacation. Unit 16 has been our favorite for at least 5 years as it is clean, well-maintained, and about halfway between the pool and the beach.

We love coming back each year. The condo is well maintained and clean. Love that the couch can be wiped down and the simplicity of the unit. Just wish it had a washer/dryer within the unit for when the kids run out of bathing suits!! Thank you so much for welcoming us back each year. Less than 360 days until we're back again!!!!

We love Island House! We had a wonderful time per usual on our beach vacation. The villa was clean and fully equip with what we needed. We will definitely be back!

great place for families, great value

In having stayed at Island House Beach Resort a number of years ago, we had set fairly high expectations for this visit. From the moment that we stepped into the front office and were greeting by a warm and friendly staff to the moment that we had to leave, everything more than meet our expectations. The 2 bedroom cottage was clean, well equipped and in close proximity to the beautiful beach, the pool house and the free trolly that takes you to both ends of the island. Our daughter - law and 4 year old grandson had an equally great time. It resort might not be a 5 star site by some peoples standard but for the fair price, its truly had to beat as a safe, friendly and convenient option.

V16 is comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen has every imaginable utensil. It’s one of our favorite villas. IH did a great job keeping non IH guests at bay with their security. Juan & Lilly are always available for help if we need it! So is Sonny & Jill!

This is our 5th stay at Island House and our 2nd stay at Villa 16. We love Siesta Key and our visit in 2024 was very nice. The Villa could use some updating and needs a few repairs, but was adequate. We were a bit disappointed with the 20% rate increase for 2025, which may force us to look at other options in 2025.

Villa was in great condition , loved the fact that it was remodeled and kitchen was pretty well equipped.

Wish it wouldve been a little more clean, but honestly every time we stay I am always ready to do some extra cleaning.
Other than that one of the best villas we have stayed at.
Loveddd the outdoor shower and the beds were very comfortable .

Was a very nice place, very well appointed (quality pots and pans to cook with), great quiet location enjoyed it very much. Master bed very comfortable. Location was great very friendly residents and staff.
Tiny ants only issue. with on ground unit probably issue with most villas. Needed some sort of remediation around perimeter of villa. Unit was awesome besides that issue.

We’ve been going to the Island House Beach Resort for several years now and always leave longing for our next visit. The location is wonderful and the staff friendly and accommodating. We look forward to many more visits to this resort on this beautiful beach property.

My friend and I had a wonderful week in Siesta Keys, as expected. I have been here 5 times previously and my friend 4 times. We have always stayed on Midnight Pass road, beach side. This was our first time at this resort. The apartment was perfect for us! The owner has it tastefully decorated and it has a very relaxing décor. The walk to the pool and the beach was short and very convenient. We had a few minor issues with the apartment, but maintenance took care of them very quickly. I love my morning walks on the beach. I'm a shell freak, so plenty are to be had. We always enjoy Millie's for breakfast and Clayton's for happy hour. The village is always fun. And, you can't miss Sundays drum gathering at the public beach. Love St Armand's Square for shopping and Columbia restaurant. Try to 1905 salad and the cannelloni's. Fun time at Captain Curt's for karaoke. Would definitely stay here again! Scott, thanks for your help with everything.

We love Island House. We've been coming to Siesta Key for over 11 years and have always stayed at Island House. This was our 5th or 6th time staying in Villa 16 and we love it. The unit was remodeled last year and the did an amazing job. Everything is so pretty and modern and (new floors, recessed ceiling, new is all so beautiful. They even added an outdoor surfboard shower this year! We are super happy with our stay every year and can't wait to come back next year (we already booked it!). Our kids talk about this vacation all year long!

Very happy with our recent stay at Island House, great location, great beach. You can relax all you want...or head to the village and get your nightlife on.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to after our stay in Village 16 at Island Beach House. This unit exceeded our expectations. It appears to have been recently renovated and redecorated (new countertops, updated bathrooms, new furniture, beautiful patio with adorable overhead lighting, etc.). Both bedrooms were large, and had the most comfortable pillows I've ever used. In addition, the unit was just steps from the beach and pool. When looking for a place to stay on Siesta Key, I thought initially this might be too far from the Village. That wasn't the case. The Village was only 1-2 miles away...you could take a car or trolley and be there in minutes, or walk if you wanted to. The unit, in a word was perfect, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

We LOVED this rental. It is clean, has everything you could possibly need to make it "home" including a Keurig (yay) .... it is less than 2 min walk to the beautiful sands of Siesta Key. We had some rain, ,but didn't mind as this rental is huge, has a full and twin in 2nd bedroom (which was great for our tall teenager and her friend)... and everything is new. Smelled clean the minute we walked in door and exceeded expectations. Also these are villa style so you have the whole place to yourself - no neighbors above or below you to wake you up. This is less than a mile to Siesta Key Village and right on the sands of the beach. Don't walk, run to book this beautiful unit. :)

Clean, well maintained grounds. Beautiful and basically private beach. Just a great relaxing stay, near many amenities. Will be back. The white powdery sand and warm gulf waters keep calling me!

Beautiful weather close to beach

We spend every September on Siesta Key. The last 5 years, we spent it at The Island House. And Villa 16 has become our favorite. The recent renovation turned out beautiful. We love the location of the unit as well as the layout. And we always meet the nicest people while we’re there.

VERY clean, well decorated, included amenities and kitchen had all utensils needed. Nice screened in porch. Was there for a 2-day golf trip, and worked perfectly.

Villa 16 was clean and very updated! The beds were comfortable. The screened in porch is a wonderful place to eat dinner and relax. It is a quick walk to the beach to view amazing sunsets!

This unit was exactly what we needed. Close to the beach, pool and laundry room. I was a little disappointed when I found out we didn’t have a washer/dryer but the laundry room is so close to the pool it wasn’t a problem. We will return next year.

Our stay in this villa was fantastic. The decor is beautiful and looks brand new, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and the white sand beach is just a short walk down the property. Extremely clean! Beds were comfortable and we loved sitting on the patio in the morning with our coffee. Pool area was large and clean as well. HIGHLY recommend this unit!

Overall the vacation rental experience was very good.
The rental does need new pots, pans and skillets (we had to buy one the skillets were so bad).

The beach and chairs etc were as amazing as ever. the addition of the grills since the last time we were there is nice. Keep them clean and maintained (they were this time.)
